Telekom Serbia will by the end of july pay 646 million euros for Telekom Srpska, emphasized Drasko Petrovic, general manager of this company, at the press conference on june 1 in Media Center in Belgrade. As he said, credit line obligations, approved by Citibank, will be payed from regular income of the Company, so shareholders will be satisfied.

Electrical industry of Serbia joined attempts of Srbian Government to speed up the process of informatisation and computer education of employees. Establishing its own ECDL test center and training of its employees using internet, EPS will certificate its 7000 employees with total savings of 1.5 million euros.

IBM takes over a part of server business of Serbian Business System
On April 26 IBM signed arrangement with Serbian Business Systems (SBS) on taking over its service for IBM hardware support. The transaction will be done in line with serbian law, but financial detailes are not published. Purchasing is under control, and the end of the process is expected to be later this year.

In Sant Louis, Missouri, from April 29 to May 2 Partner World Conference took place, the most significant annual summit of IBM and IBM business partners.
